Sheers, drapery, or both?
Sheers soften daylight and give daytime privacy while keeping the room bright. Drapery panels block light, absorb sound and add warmth. Layering the two is the most versatile setup: sheers closed through the day, drapery drawn at night.
Can I put drapery over my existing blinds?
Almost always. Panels mounted just outside the window frame frame the opening and hide the headrail. We check the clearance when we measure so the drapery stacks clear of the glass and the blind still operates freely.
How high should the rod go?
As a rule we mount well above the frame and close to the ceiling — it makes the window read taller and the room feel bigger. We bring this up at the consultation because it is the single change that most affects how custom the finished room looks.

We measure every window ourselves and our own installers do the mounting — the fit is guaranteed. Typical turnaround is fast because everything is produced locally in Kitchener, Ontario.
